John McLellan Contracting applies several layers to ensure the area is water tight. The material called Blue Skin, a rubber adheisive layer is applied to the plywood, to ensure that no water can further penetrate the damaged area or under the windows.

The next material used is called Tyvek House Wrap, this waterproof material allows water that has gotten behind the vinyl siding to bead freely down the wall, without it stopping to create water damage. All windows and doors are recaulked around the area to further guarentee a tight waterproof seal.
